For example, reading  and accessing the written word (over 70% of the curriculum) can present massive challenges to pupil and teacher. We can show you how to raise reading achievement across your school using the latest technology. This is cost-effective, easy to implement and extremely empowering for pupils.

Many SEN pupils have underlying physiological needs that prevent them from accessing the curriculum successfully. At the Brain Tree we have experience in identifying and meeting these needs (that we call the roots) and then offering solutions and next steps.

Too many SEN diagnoses are just that, a diagnosis, without an accompanying regime to empower the pupil. 

 

Every child can be helped once a thorough assessment has been made, in modern terminology we talk about neuro-divergence and neuro-plasticity, but these are just new ways of saying old things, every brain is unique, and every brain learns.

 

At the Brain Tree we focus on what the person needs to make progress, once they experience positive change, they'll want more, and the process becomes self-reinforcing.
