lets grow!

the brain tree
Every child in an individual, growing and maturing in a way that is unique to them.
The Brain Tree embodies the best philosophy and practice in education, we use this analogy to make the simple but powerful point: if a tree is not growing we look to the soil, the air, water and nutrients the tree is getting...
We never blame the tree.
Using the latest educational neuro-science we are able to nurture the Brain Tree into health.
We start at the 'roots', those invisible bases of stability and growth that aren't always obvious to the eye, for example, did you know that most people with Dyslexia and ADHD can't keep in time to music? The ability to clap along to music may seem trivial, but it is at the root of many barriers to learning, and can be taught.
The Brain Tree develops strong roots.
We then look at the 'trunk', where there is natural strength and stability to develop, for example, did you know that neuro-science has identified at least 8 separate types of intelligence? Everyone's 'trunk' is a unique blend of aptitudes and talents, which will respond differently to different challenges.
The Brain Tree nurtures a strong trunk.
Lastly we work on the 'branches', how to help develop healthy growth and exploration, and take next steps. Using simple exercises and activities promotes the growth of 'flowers' and 'fruit'. The Brain Tree grows best when it wants to grow, wants to explore, 'branches' need to be full of intention with clear goals in mind.
The Brain Tree creates beautiful flowers and fruit.
